In a month where we’re usually seeing the beginning of the down trend of Fall and Winter, we’re only seeing a slight drop off in sales. In our unseasonably cool August, we started to see the beginning of the the taper off of activity, but now you can see the drop as we progress more fully in the Autumn season.
Overall, we’re still up over 2013 as far as number of sales go, but just by a hair.
The real upside is that our sales prices are increasing year over year, meaning that less properties may be selling, but they are selling for MORE!You can see that as the days get cooler, the length of time spent on the market bounces a little up and down, but overall we’re staying pretty steady. With a warm and bustling July, followed by an unseasonably cool August, meant that our average days on market dipped a little then hopped back up just a bit.
