Real Estate Market Stats for July 2014
The summer months are winding down, but they’ve been busy ones! You can see from the graphs below that our market is recovering, slowly but surely! Check out the graphs below for all of El Paso County. I can provide specific statistics for a certain area if you would like!
As is tradition, our average number of days a listing stays active on the market dips down during the warmer months. As we move into the fall and winter seasons, we can expect to see this number climb a little.
Our average sales price is pretty variable, but it’s good to see that it’s still climbing over the last couple of years!
Like the average sales price, median sales price is up year over year as well! That means that property values continue to improve!
July was a little slower than last year in terms of number of sales closed. I think after the busy May and June we had, everyone took a little break for the holidays!
In terms of overall inventory sales, we’re staying pretty steady with patterns set in 2012 and 2013. We’re up slightly, but as we move into colder months, it’s likely that listing and buyer activity will slow a little.
